In 1983, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in Electrical Engineering Technology from the
University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in
Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

In 1992, I earned a Master of Science degree in
Computer Science from the University of
California at Fullerton in Fullerton, California.

From 1983 to 1998, I worked for General
Dynamics then Hughes then Raytheon through a
series of buyouts in Pomona, California and
Tucson, Arizona.

During this time, I mainly worked on various
aspects of simulation, imbedded test, and user
interface software for the Phalanx Close-In
Weapon System.  I developed this software
using assembly, FORTRAN, Ada and C.

In 1998, I left the technical world to pursue a
vocation I felt held much more importance in the
grand scheme of things.  I became a full time
mother to my three children; now 14, 12 and 9.
In the fall of 2003 we started down another
challenging, but rewarding path by beginning
homeschooling.
